How to choose the power size of the voltage regulator
Firstly, we need to clarify what type of electrical equipment it belongs to. Generally, loads are divided into pure resistive loads, inductive loads, and capacitive loads. Regardless of the load, considering factors such as the electrical environment and the power factor of the voltage regulator production factory, we must choose a reasonable voltage regulator power supply. At the rated power of the electrical equipment, sufficient margin should be left, especially for inductive capacitive loads.
How to choose a regulated power supply is as follows:
1. For purely resistive loads such as incandescent lamps, induction cookers, resistance wires, and other electrical equipment, the power of the voltage regulator should be selected to be 1-2 times the device power. For example, the commonly used induction cooker is 1000VA, so you can choose a 2000VA voltage regulator.

2. For inductive and capacitive loads such as fans, water pumps, refrigerators, and other electrical equipment, the power of the voltage regulator should be 3-5 times the load power. For example, if the power of a small water pump is 2000VA, it is more reasonable to choose a 6000VA voltage regulator.

3. For large inductive and capacitive loads, such as deep well water intake equipment, large squirrel cage motors, tunnel excavation equipment, etc., the power of the voltage regulator should be selected as 5-8 times the power of the electrical equipment. We should configure the power regulator at least 5 times the load power.
