Before putting the voltage regulator into operation, it is necessary to understand its usage conditions and methods
The current of the load cannot exceed the specified output current.
The output voltage is within the allowable range. If the output voltage is unstable, it should be promptly checked for faults before use.
Under normal usage conditions, the voltage regulator can be used continuously for a long time when it is under load.
Analysis and troubleshooting of high-power voltage regulator faults:
If the output voltage deviates significantly from the voltage regulator, the manual and automatic transfer switches should not be in the automatic position, but should be placed in the automatic position. If the input voltage has exceeded the stable voltage range, the carbon brush has poor contact, or it does not slide on the slide at all, it should be adjusted in a timely manner.
If the output voltage deviates very little from the voltage regulator, the potentiometer controlling the voltage regulator should be adjusted.
If the output voltage oscillates or the voltage of the power grid fluctuates greatly in an instant, it may be due to changes in the load,
Maintenance of high-power voltage regulator:
Depending on its usage environment or maintenance cycle, voltage regulation is usually maintained every three months or six months.
When cleaning the dust in various components of the voltage regulator, especially the carbon brush, slide, brush holder, and transmission mechanism, it is necessary to use carbon tetrachloride and cotton cloth for wiping.
The condition has worn out the damaged carbon brush.
The regulator should adjust the tension of the chain every two months of operation.
